Admission Process


Master of Computer Application (MCA)

From the session 2010-11, the Institute has started 3 yrs post graduate course - MCA affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University. Our Institute code is 30.

The sanctioned intake is 60. The students are admitted through  two categories: Management and RMCAAT.

15% of the sanctioned intake is filled by Management and the rest 85% by RMCAAT.

To apply for MCA, the candidate –

  • Must possess 10+2 at school level with Mathematics + Graduation (3 years duration) in any subject from recognized University with at least 50% agg. 
  • Graduation (10+2+3) in any subject with mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized University with at least 50% agg. 
  • BCA, B.Sc. (IT) and B.Sc. (Comp Sc) are eligible for the requirement of mathematics

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

The Institute runs five branches of Engineering : 
  1. Electronics & Communication Engineering
  2. Computer Science Engineering
  3. Information Technology
  4. Electrical Engineering
  5. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Present sanctioned intake is 60 in each branch of Engineering.

For admission into Engineering,  the admission procedure is done in three categories: Management, AIEEE, RPET. 15% of the sanctioned intake is filled by Management, 15% by AIEEE aspirants (Outside Rajasthan students only are eligible) and the rest 70% by RPET.

To apply under Management quota, students should have an average of  65% and above in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Dates for applying under management quota and the counselling date are mentioned in the news section of the Institute website.  Students with only high merit are considered for admission under Management Quota.

Students appearing in AIEEE and RPET entrance examinations are taken as per the lists separately finalized by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur (website: http://techedu.rajasthan.gov.in). Separate option forms opting for the Institute and specifying the branch are to be filled by the students of RPET as well as AIEEE. The option forms are made available to the students of RPET along with their entrance form, whereas AIEEE students should download it from the website.
 
Usually a DD of Rs.11,000/-  is to be sent along with the AIEEE option form and application form which will be adjusted against the fees and a DD of Rs.10,000/- is to be sent along with the RPET option form which will be adjusted against the fees at the time of admission.

Our Institute code is 49 and the branch codes are (06-Computer Science, 07-Electrical, 09-Electronics & Communication, 10- Electrical  and Electronics, 12-Information Technology)

After filling the form, the students should wait for the announcement in newspaper or regularly visit the above mentioned site for their results and proceed accordingly to get the admission in the Institute.

Our Institute has opted TFWS scheme introduced by AICTE to admit additional 6 students in each branch. The students with RPET ranks are eligible in this category and the selection is made by the admission authority, RPET Coordinator. Students admitted through this scheme have an advantage of complete Tuition Fee Waiver for the full 4 years duration of the course.
