Why BKBIET ?

Our first batch of engineering students graduated in July 2011.

The BKBIET, Pilani is part of Shree Krishnarpan Charity Trust, under the chairmanship of Syt. Basant Kumar Birla, the renowned Visionary, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist. The institute, established in the year 2007, is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University.

Besides offering the highest quality of technical inputs, our institute has taken initiatives that enable our students to be more global in the exposure and approach. Following are some of these:

  • A robust academic collaboration with 10 of the world’s leading universities (six in France, two in Thailand and one each in Switzerland & Portugal. We shall soon add more universities from Europe and the USA to this list)

  • Over 20% students have undergone their internships from these prominent international universities

  • More than 40 students from these universities have completed their internships at BKBIET under the Student Exchange Program

  • Our student to faculty ratio is 15:1. We have attracted some of the best faculty including those with rich industry experience and enforced Sixth Pay Commission also

  • Foundation have been made more stronger by guest faculties from BITS, CEERI and other relevant industries

  • We have state of the art laboratories, infrastructure and the latest in teaching practices

  • In-house Training initiative realized as an established Aditya Birla Training & Research Center (ABTRC) to make our students industry-ready through out the session

  • We have student chapters of ACM, IEEE and IETE forums, enabling our member students updated and exposed through activities like: workshops, seminars, etc.

  • Students do their summer Internships from ABTRC, CEERI, BHEL, IBM, infosys, C-DAC, HP, Bosch, HCL, IOC, L&T, TATA Tele, NTPC, CEG, DRDO, Western Railway, Havells, Suratgarh Thermal Power Station, Birla Museum, Doordarshan, BSNL amd many more...

  • Few highlights from the Batch-2011 :

    • Total of 71 students from pre-final and final year are already shortlisted by INDIAN ARMY for SSB round, held in Feb-Mar'11

    • 16 students who are scholarly spectacular and snooping to build their career in teaching have been absorbed by our Institute and one of our technical Institutes for the faculty positions:

    • 10 companies have selected 88 students from all branches
